Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the people of Iran, again warning of the possible consequences of attacks on Israel by the Islamic Republic.
IsraelInfo writes about this.
In his speech in English, he noted that another blow to Israel could involve the destruction of Iran’s oil and gas infrastructure, which would be a serious blow to the Iranian economy, which is based on this sector. Previously, according to Netanyahu, Israel refrained from attacking Iran’s energy facilities, but now the situation may change.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the October attack on Israel cost Iran a significant amount of 2.3 billion dollars. He regretted that these funds were spent on military activities that did not cause significant damage to Israel, but were devastating to the Iranian economy.
Netanyahu also indicated that this money could have been used to improve infrastructure, education and other important areas in Iran, but the Iranian regime chose to spend it on the conflict.
Netanyahu noted that the Iranian people could live in conditions that allow for free expression and a secure future for children if the country’s resources were directed toward internal development rather than external conflicts.
According to him, Israel would be willing to help Iran develop infrastructure, including the construction of water purification systems similar to those successfully operating in Israel. However, the current Iranian regime, as Netanyahu emphasized, is not interested in such initiatives.
He warned that another attack on Israel could further weaken the Iranian economy, depriving it of billions of additional dollars. Netanyahu concluded his speech by urging Iranians not to lose hope and to remember that Israel and the entire free world stand with them.
He expressed confidence that one day Iran can become a free country, and then Israelis and Iranians can build a peaceful and prosperous future together.
