PP-A and Vox begin political journey in Parliament with debate on migration

The PP-A and Vox groups will defend on Thursday the plenary session of the Andalusian Parliament, the first of the new session period, two non-legislative proposals on migration and the situation of foreign minors unaccompanied persons residing in the community.

In the PP-A initiative, the central government is asked to adopt the necessary measures to improve the control and protection of the Spanish borders, provide the necessary resources to the state security forces and organs (FCSE), increase the number of officers responsible for guarding it.

It is also proposed that the National Executive review and improve cooperation agreements with third countries, in particular with Morocco, Senegal and Mauritania, for collaboration in the control of irregular migratory flows, “with the guarantee of their response in the execution of the return files processed by the Spanish authorities, improving the human and administrative resources for this purpose.”

Similarly, the government is invited to establish a “sufficient contingency fund” fund communities in the reception of unaccompanied foreign minors, in order to provide them with resources from their reception until their emancipation.”

The Board of Directors is requested to require the National Executive to provide financially Andalusia every time it carries out a transfer of migrant minorsor, where appropriate, adult migrants who later turn out to be minor migrants, in order to be able to help them with the economic resources they need.

Regarding Vox’s non-legal proposal, the Council is asked to demand that the central government urgently proceed to “the immediate expulsion of all immigrants who enter our country illegally, as well as all immigrants who, after having entered our country legally, commit serious crimes or commit minor crimes that undermine their way of life”, as it urgently addresses the “repatriation of unaccompanied foreign minors to their country of origin with their parents, relatives or intimate environment”.

The Council is asked to oppose “to the relocation or reception in Andalusia of any immigrant who entered Spain illegally, as this not only represents a huge expenditure of public resources, but also a threat to the security of Andalusians”, and that it implements all necessary measures to “guarantee national priority in access to public aid granted by the Council.”

Another demand addressed to the Andalusian Government is that it proceeds “Close” centres for unaccompanied foreign minors “which create insecurity in the streets, giving priority to the most conflictual” and that, even if they remain open, “the necessary measures and infrastructures are put in place to guarantee the safety of the workers in these centers, the existence of sufficient space and the safety of the workers.” of the surrounding neighborhoods.

Vox also asks the Council to guarantee “transparency concerning illegal immigration”, indicating in detail the number of minors under guardianship (age, sex and nationality), the centres in which they are located and the cost for the autonomous administration, and the amount of all “aid received by immigrants in an irregular situation.”
