PP demands apology from Sánchez, who now speaks of the “need to expel” immigrants

The PP demands from the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchezan apology after changing his mind when defending that it was “indispensable” to expel illegal immigrants. “While Sánchez was proposing Spain as a work destination for 250,000 African migrants, last night the President of the Government changed his position and spoke of the need to expel to those who enter our country irregularly,” they say from the party led by Alberto Nuñez Feijooin reference to the statements that Sánchez is making these days during his tour of Africa to try to put an end to the migration crisis that has been triggered in recent months with the massive arrival of irregular immigrants in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.

The popular ones emphasize that the socialist leader has taken “only 24 hours later” by changing their position on illegal immigration. “Beyond confirming that the government has no plan to stop the arrival of immigrants on our shores at the source, we are waiting for an apology of those who questioned our “moral high ground”, of those who called us xenophobic and of those who said that the extreme right was in the lead”, they say from the PP. The party also recalls that the Sánchez government attacked the spokesperson of the Popular Party in Congress, Miguel Telladofor recalling that Germany is already considering the expulsion of illegal immigrants.
