Prabowo rice planting using drone
Ogan Ilir – The President of Indonesia Prabovo Subiantto was present at the landing of rice seeds using the technology of drones in the area of Pemalangan, Oganus Regensi, South Sumatra today. Prabovo admitted that this was the first time he distributed seeds using a drone.
“Earlier, I tried it myself, I was shocked. For the first time controlled the drone. The drone spread, ”said Prabavo on Wednesday (04/23/2025).
Prabovo explained that 105,000 hectares of rice fields in South Sumatra, which are built with the most modern methods in the world. He said that rice planting using a very effective drone technology, proven in 1 day can reach 25 hectares.
“It turns out that one day is 25 hectares. It was 1 hectare if you use human power for 25 days. 1 hectare 25 days, now (using drones) 25 hectares 1 day. And this later 100 thousand will become a productive rice fields, ”he said.
He added that rice planting using drones can increase the number of rice production in South Sumatra.
“The governor and the Minister of Agriculture are informed to me, an increase in South Sumatra will be 3 million tons per year throughout the South Sumatra up to 4 million. This is extremely 25% in 1 year, ”he explained.
