Liputan6.com, jakarta – President Prabovo Subanto began a series of foreign trips, having held a state visit and a working visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday (7/7/2025). Prabovo should hold a meeting with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman al -Saud (MBS).
The plan, Prabowo and MBS will meet in the Al-Salah Palace, Jeddo. A number of issues will be discussed by two state leaders, including the village of Hajj.
“The president plans to talk about improving the handling of pilgrimage. Including our Pilgrimage Planning Plan in Saudi Arabia, ”said Minister of State of Secretary Pozno Hadi Hadi Hadi Halim Perdanakusum Jakarta on Tuesday (1/7/2025).
According to him, the discussion about the village of Hajj for Indonesian pilgrims is important for the implementation of pilgrimage next year to be better. Prabowo and MBS will also discuss the issue of a number of cooperation and political development in the Middle East.
“Of course, he will talk about political issues, political cooperation between Indonesia and the Saudi Arabic, as well as about political events in the Middle East,” Prasio explained.
This is the first visit of Prabavo to Saudi Arabia since the President of the Republic of Indonesia officially holds. This visit shows the obligation of the Indonesia Government to strengthen bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia as a strategic partner in the region of the Middle East.
Thanks to this visit, it is expected that the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in a number of strategic regions will exist stronger. This visit is also part of Indonesia’s efforts to conduct active diplomacy based on national interests and the global world.
