This is how the first vice-president and spokesperson of the Generalitat Valenciana, Susana Camarero, expressed this Friday, when asked about the departure from the regional government after the catastrophic DANA of the already former councilors Nuria Montes and Salomé Pradas. Dismissals now firm with their publication in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat.
The vice-president emphasized “the such a complicated situation that they have both experienced personally in recent days. Montes was head of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism, while Pradas was in charge of Justice and the Interior, with emergency powers during the post -fateful noon of October 29.
Camarero suggested that in both cases it was a matter of a dismissal at one’s own request and not by decision of the president Carlos Mazón, as part of the renovation undertaken by his government, focused on reconstruction.
Regarding possible changes in the second and third stages of the Consell’s organizational chart, his spokesperson stressed that “the normal thing” is that the new councilors create their own teams and, therefore, they will be the ones to decide.
