He emphasized that innovations should not always be high -tech, but should be able to touch the lives of everyday people.
“Innovation is not only a question of high-tech, but also high.
According to him, the countries of Southeast Asia, especially those who are ASEAN members, have the right to combine local wisdom and global ideas. Sandiaga also emphasized the need for inclusive innovation.
“Thus, not only creates a unicorn, but also expands the capabilities of a sociopener that has a social influence,” he added.
The amount of MSME potential in the economy is confirmed using Indonesian forecasts. Sandiaga UNO said that MSMES has provided about 97 percent of employment.
Nevertheless, the MMSP in Indonesia is still encountered with digital spaces and access to technology. Thus, he initiated OC OCE, an entrepreneurial movement, which currently has more than 600,000 members.
SMEs, which are OK OCE members are increasingly developing, even they cooperate with partners in Malaysia, Singapore and the United States.
“If you want to see the future of ASEAN, look at mass (MMSP),” added Sandiaga Uno.
He added that the expansion of the rights and capabilities of the MMSP should be carried out using digital literacy, the certification of halal, access to green financing and the penetration of the electronic commerce market.
