President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev The President of Algeria sent a letter of congratulations to Abdelmajid Tebbun.
President.az reports that the letter says:

I sincerely congratulate you on your re-election as President of the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria. Your convincing victory in the elections is a clear manifestation of the great confidence of the Algerian people in you personally and in your political line.
We attach particular importance to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Algeria. The current level of our interstate relations is satisfactory.
I am confident that, in accordance with the interests of our peoples, we will successfully continue our joint efforts to deepen relations between our countries and further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
