Power outages in Abkhazia may worsen due to the political crisis, Abkhazian President Aslan Bzhania told the Apsnypress news agency.
“In the near future, due to the actions of people occupying a complex of government buildings, the population could be left without electricity,” — said Bazhniya, RIA Novosti.
The schedule of rolling blackouts of four hours a day may change as early as November 18, said the president of Abkhazia.
“Today our power went out for 4 hours. We stick to this schedule. Tomorrow, under these conditions, it will be very difficult to maintain the schedule. That is why I ask you once again not to give in to provocations.” – said Bzhania.
As reported, Bzhania previously called the opposition’s actions an attempted coup d’état and called on the population not to succumb to provocations.
