Azerbaijan is strengthening its position in the world political arena.
Oku.AzSerbian President Aleksandar Vucic told reporters.
He noted that negotiations with Baku on cooperation in the field of energy and the construction of a gas power plant are very important for Serbia.
“Yesterday afternoon my close friend, the President of Azerbaijan With Ilham Aliyev We had fruitful negotiations. For us it is very important to have a gas corridor, an interconnection between Bulgaria and Serbia for the collection of gas and the subsequent generation of electricity,” Vucic said.
In addition, he added that logistical relations between Russia and Iran through Azerbaijan and then with all other countries are very useful for Serbia.
The Serbian leader paid special attention to the Trans-Caspian international transport route, known as the “middle corridor.”
“The Middle Corridor between the countries of Central Asia is of great importance for us,” Vucic stressed.
The President of Serbia expressed his admiration for the recent progress seen in Azerbaijan.
“We would like to further develop cooperation with Azerbaijan,” concluded Aleksandar Vucic.
