President of the Balearic Parliament, from Vox, expels two deputies for showing photos of victims of the Franco regime

The President of the Balearic Parliament, Gabriel Le Senne (Vox), expelled the socialist deputies from this Tuesday’s plenary session Mercedes Garrido and Pilar Costa to wear on the camera table t-shirts with portraits of three republicans assassinated in 1937 for the Franco regime.

At the start of the debate on an amendment relating to the total repeal of the Democratic Memory law, the confrontation occurred for the same reason on June 18, when Le Senne shattered the image of Aurora Picornell and sisters Antonia and María Pascual that Garrido carried on the flap of his laptop.

The Senne, charged with this act as a hate crimeargued that the exhibition of the images of the three women murdered by the Falangists violated the obligation of neutrality of the Parliament table, while the left responded that no article of the regulation protects their decision and that the image of the victims of repression cannot be considered biased or indecent.
