Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that changes the rules for wearing the uniform of military personnel in the country. The changes, in particular, affected the daily form of the higher officers.

The corresponding document is published on the official government legal information portal. This decree enters into force from the moment it was signed.

The highest armed forces officers of the Russian Federation and the Russian Guard are now required to wear trousers with boxes and bars of firm colors, which confirm their status and affiliation.

The changes also affected the field form of the Armed Forces (the Armed Forces) of Russia – a camouflaged shirt was added to the group. The same element was added to a group of uniforms from students and soldiers working in educational institutions and female army.

For the highest naval officers and coastal forces, an additional layer of black color is inserted with a five percent sewing on a collar and uniform.
