On September 2, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Juric.

It was reported that Azerbaijani-Serbian relations, characterized by high dynamics of development, were noted with satisfaction due to their character of friendship and strategic partnership.
The role of the Heads of State in strengthening bilateral relations and achieving their current high level was particularly highlighted.
The mutual support of Azerbaijan and Serbia within the framework of international organizations, especially on issues of territorial integrity and sovereignty, was highly appreciated.
It was stated that effective cooperation between the two countries is carried out in many directions, especially in the trade, economic, investment, oil and gas and industrial fields.
The meeting discussed prospects for increasing the volume of trade and mutual investments between Azerbaijan and Serbia, development of cooperation in the transport and transit, renewable energy, humanitarian and other sectors.
