It is reported that the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council began in Yerevan on September 30, and a meeting of the heads of government of the five EAEU countries: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia will take place on October 1. place. Golovchenko noted that the agenda of the meeting included 21 topics, five of which will be discussed in a limited format. In addition, the Belarusian side raised another question.
“It is also expected that other states may include topics that have not yet been included in the agreed agenda, taking into account the importance of the topics for certain states,” – stated the Belarusian Prime Minister.
According to him, on the sidelines of the forum, a broad debate is expected on topics such as the unification of approaches within the framework of risk management systems, personnel issues for the EEC board of directors, the approval of the EAEU budget for 2025, etc.
“On the sidelines of this event, a meeting is planned with the President of the Government of the Russian Federation to discuss current issues of our interaction within the State of the Union,” – said Golovchenko.
Let us remember that Belarus and Russia have been building the Union State since 1999. Currently, the parties intend to accelerate the bilateral integration process, mainly in the economic field.
