Prisoners in the capital of Thailand are calling for the resignation of the Prime Minister

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in the capital of Thailand Bangkok, today on Saturday, to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Patonharn Shinavatra with the ongoing political riots, which began from a leakage of a telephone call with the former prime minister Cambodia Hong Hong Shan.

Patongar is more and more outraged to her, as for the recent border conflict with Cambodia, which included a limited armed confrontation on May 28, in which one of the Cambodian soldiers was killed in a relatively controversial small area. The confrontation caused a series of investigations that could lead to his dismissal.

Many of the leading figures in protests were familiar faces who were members of a group known as “yellow shirts”, a color indicating the fidelity of the Thai royal power, parallel to the father of Patonarna, the former prime minister of Taxin Chinavarra.

Their rallies sometimes turned into violence and led to two military coups in 2006 and 2014, overthrowing two elected governments and aunt Patongarin, former Prime Minister Ingluk Shinavatra.

The anger is mainly focused on the phone call to inform the Patongar of Huni Senu, the current speaker in the Senate and her father’s girlfriend, so as not to listen to the “discount” in Thailand. It is believed that this applies to the leader of the Thai Regional Army, responsible for the region where a confrontation occurred, which publicly criticized Cambodia from the border conflict.
