Around twenty screenings, conferences, presentations and prominent guests from the national film industry will participate in Cinema24, the III Córdoba Film Week, which is already heating up. The screenings scheduled as part of the Cinema Sessions will take place in the Val del Omar and Josefina Molina rooms of the Andalusian Cinematheque in the afternoon. The public will have the opportunity to meet directors, screenwriters, producers or performers who participated in these works.

The 29 short films in competition will be screened in the official section and in the Córdoba Cinema, an award that rewards projects made by Córdoba production companies or filmmakers and which were shot in Córdoba. Cinema Premiere includes the recent public phenomenon El 47 by Marcel Barrena, nominated for best film at the Forqué Awards; and The Flashes directed by Pilar Palomero, nominated at the San Sebastian Film Festival for the Golden Shell for best film and winner of best female performance for its protagonist Patricia Lopez Arnaiz. Both will be screened at the Filmoteca, on November 29 and December 4 respectively.

The Cine Cercano Association presents this pre-screening conference in which its protagonists and the production company participate Marta Alamillo on November 30 at the Filmoteca. For five days, cinema and audiovisual professionals, as well as the general public, will be able to attend conferences, round tables and presentations on relevant and current issues in the sector. The winning project of the II Cinematographic Campus organized by Record and the Cultural Delegation of the Provincial Deputation of Cordoba will be presented exclusively on December 3. “Melón” is the title of this short film directed and scripted by Pablo Porcuna, who will be present at the presentation alongside Sabbia Films producer Gabriel Carrasco, lead actor Santi Rodríguez and composer Javier Estévez.

The dubbing actress Mercedes Hoyos will give a masterclass on audiovisual dubbing and will address the dubbing of films and television series, explaining the entire work process. This activity will take place on December 4, is free and is co-organized with the Andalusian Cinema Academy.

The fifth session of Cinema Talks will be a meeting with Cinema24 ambassadors, actress Marisol Membrillo and the journalist Manolo Bellido, both awarded in this edition respectively with the Córdoba Cinematographic Ambassador Prize and the Córdoba Cinematographic Diffusion Prize. The same evening of December 5, they will receive these awards during the closing gala which will take place at the Góngora Theater.
