“It is important to adopt a state program for the early detection and subsequent rehabilitation of autism.”
“The Report” reports that this was suggested by Soltan Mammadov, a member of the Milli Majlis, during the discussion on next year’s budget in today’s plenary session of parliament.
According to him, among children there is a spectrum of disorders whose detection and treatment require a special approach both in the field of health and social protection:
“Today it is important to adopt a state program for the early detection and subsequent rehabilitation of autism disorders caused by genetic and environmental factors. Early diagnosis and quality rehabilitation will serve to reduce the financial burden on both the state budget and the population of the country. In the long term, solving this problem through a systematic approach will further increase the effectiveness of the measures currently implemented in the field of health and social protection.”
