Prosecutor’s Office denounces teacher at Catholic center who practiced conversion “therapy” on LGTBI people

The Public Prosecutor’s Office has denounced Federico MV, a former English teacher at the Madre Josefa Campos school in Alaquàs (Valencia), a subsidized educational center, for an alleged hate crime.

The prosecutor, in a letter to which elDiario.es had access, forwarded the complaint to the High Court of Torrent (Valencia) so that it can initiate criminal proceedings and carry out all the tests deemed relevant.

The Hate Crimes Section of the Valencia Provincial Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation on July 17 after the Ministry of Education reported conversion therapy for LGTBI people.

The teacher, who confessed to a journalist from La Sexta to having practiced sexual conversion therapy on LGTBI people, prohibited by regional law, directs the Mater Misericordiae Family Orientation Center (COF), linked to the Archbishopric of Valencia.

The concerted center dispensed with the teacher’s services for this course after the complaint about his therapies, according to the newspaper. Elevator-EMV. Federico MV chaired the Association of Catholic Teachers of Valencia for almost two decades.
