The Madrid Public Prosecutor’s Office has asked the Department of Justice to accept to process the complaint that the Attorney General’s Office, on behalf of Pedro Sánchez, filed against Judge Juan Carlos Peinado for prevarication. The Public Prosecutor’s Office understands that he has summoned the President of the Government to testify without “legally” justifying his convenience and requests that the High Court of Justice open proceedings against him to determine whether his decisions in the case in which he is investigating Begoña Gómez respond to “an objective unrelated to the process.”
