Five of the six people arrested for the shooting between clans which left one dead on Sunday in the Bugurtza district (Barakaldo) were placed in temporary prison without bail. The investigating court No. 4 accuses them of an alleged offense of murder and two offenses of attempted assassination. The last person was provisionally released without bail with an obligation to appear periodically.
Furthermore, the court established other precautionary measures such as a ban on approaching within 500 meters and communicating with the two people who were also injured by firearms during the fight. The investigation, which will now be carried out by Court No. 3 of Barakaldo, comes after the investigations of the Ertzaintza, which had to keep Bugurtza armored while awaiting reprisals between the families.
Also at the Cruces Hospital (Baracaldo), where the two injured were transferred after the events and where the police had to make arrests. The confrontation would be provoked by the common history of “quarrels” between these two clans. Indeed, on Monday, the day after the shooting, several people crossed the police cordon and shouted insults and death threats.
