The socialist parliamentary group asked this Thursday the dismissal of the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Commission of Inquiry into Public Procurement of the Autonomous Administrationafter having “recognized the non-existence” of the legal report to which the MP referred to justify the rejection of the amendments presented to the work plan. Something “intolerable” which “confirms the suspicions of manipulation” and which, according to the training, seeks to transform the commission into a “bet”.

In a statement, the formation led by José Ramón Gómez Besteiro in Galicia denounced that “after weeks of waiting”, the response received from the board of directors of the commission “proof that such a report never existed, now replacing it with a simple oral warning.” “We consider it intolerable that the parliamentary process is manipulated with this impunity, especially within a commission created with the aim of clarifying and not concealing. “We will continue to work to ensure that all details of pandemic hiring are known and appropriate responsibilities are resolved,” the group said.

According to the socialists, the objective of this “manipulation” is to avoid clarifying direct hirings carried out during the pandemic and with alleged contracts with companies linked to relatives of senior PP officials, such as Alberto Núñez Feijóo. Thus, understanding that the “veto of amendments” – which required, among other things, that appearances be chosen by a reinforced majority, i.e. two-thirds of the House – has no “real legal basis”, They demand the dismissal of the popular deputy, whom they accuse of “lack of transparency”.
