With its back against the wall, Paris-Saint-Germain (PSG) has no intention of paying Kylian Mbappé the 55 million euros in unpaid wages and bonuses that the player is demanding. The legal commission ordered PSG “proceed within one week to pay the outstanding salary amounts” to the attacker, “that is, the salaries and ethics bonuses corresponding to the months of April, May and June 2024, as well as the deadline for the hiring bonus which expires on February 29, 2024”.

Other possible remedies
The decision of the LFP’s legal committee was a resounding rejection of the club’s management, which had been reminded of its obligations as a businessman. The latter had justified the non-payment of these sums by arguing for a proposal made by the player to its president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, in August 2023, to give up part of his income if he left without transfer compensation at the end of his contract in June 2024.
At the time, the French international approached the PSG leaders, when they sent him to train at the “loft”with other footballers considered undesirable, outside the professional group.
