Production of civilian unmanned aerial vehicles will begin in the Far East as part of the growing technological potential, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the ninth Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
Announcing support for the development of advanced industries and artificial intelligence infrastructure in the Far Eastern Federal District, Putin noted:
“In particular, we will organize a zone for processing unmanned aerial vehicles for civilian purposes.”
As the Head of State stressed, the region will continue to increase its educational and scientific potential to fully reap the benefits of technological progress.
