Putin asked shamans for permission to have nuclear weapons in Mongolia

Russian journalist Mikhail Zygar, in an article for the German magazine Der Spiegel, presented an interesting version of why Russian President Vladimir Putin tried to visit Mongolia. According to the journalist, in addition to demonstrating his activity “on the spot”, Putin also had a hidden goal – to meet with shamans.

Citing sources close to the Kremlin, Zygar claims that the main purpose of Putin’s visits to Mongolia and his regular trips to Tuva were precisely shamanic rituals. Mongolia and Tuva are known to be the birthplace of some of the most powerful shamans.

There are rumours in Moscow that Putin needs the approval of shamans before making a decision to use nuclear weapons. Without their blessing, he allegedly would not have decided to take such a step, fearing the wrath of the spirits. The material says that Putin returned satisfied after his visit to Mongolia, although there is no evidence for this version.

Putin has long been known for his fascination with mysticism, combining an interest in Orthodox tradition with pagan rituals. He regularly visits the elders of the Valaam Monastery, famous in the Orthodox mysticism of medieval Rus, and also takes part in shamanic rituals during trips to Tuva with former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, a native of these places.

According to the article, shamans promised Putin success in the war. The author also refers to political scientist Valery Solovy, who argued that the attack on Ukraine was preceded by a pagan ritual with the sacrifice of an eagle, performed by shamans for Putin in Sochi.

Sources close to the Kremlin say that before launching the invasion of Ukraine, Putin consulted several mystics, all of whom assured him of military victory.

Putin’s passion for mysticism and desire to receive support from “otherworldly forces” can be compared with similar inclinations of Adolf Hitler, who was also passionate about esotericism, which, according to the author, was reflected in the environment of the Russian leader.

Previously, Cursor reported that Ukraine has suspended the introduction of new reserves, focusing on strengthening defences in the Kursk region. Russia has launched a counteroffensive in the Kursk region, once again drawing attention to the objectives of the operation by Ukrainian forces invading the region.
