Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the President of the Central African Republic (CAR), Faustin-Archange Touadera, the Kremlin’s press service reported.
“The status and prospects for further development of friendly bilateral relations in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other areas were discussed.” – indicated in the Kremlin.
It is noted that “an exchange of views took place on regional issues with an emphasis on countering the terrorist threat and ensuring stability throughout the Central African Republic.”
“The Russian side confirmed its readiness to continue helping the Central African Republic in strengthening the national economy, sovereignty and security of the country. Faustin Archange Touadera expressed his gratitude for the various assistance provided by Russia.” – says the message.
The presidents agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
