Putin criticizes Ukraine for not wanting to unblock negotiations to end the war

Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized Ukraine for not wanting to unblock the negotiations to bring about an end to the war. And he warns Zelensky and NATO that his army will fight until victory: “The Russian army undoubtedly becomes not only one of the most technologically advanced, but also one of the most combat-ready when the “NATO has had enough.” we fight, ask them the same thing. We are ready to continue this fight, Victory will be ours.”

He did so in an interview with media heads of the BRICS countries, broadcast live on television. At the same meeting, he declared that Moscow would not allow “under no circumstances” does Ukraine have nuclear weapons. “Russia will not allow this under any circumstances,” the Kremlin leader said.

Furthermore, he ruled out that Ukraine could receive nuclear weapons from other countries, because this is something that “cannot be hidden.” “We are able to detect any steps in that direction,” he said. According to Putin, statements about the possibility of kyiv producing nuclear weapons constitute “a dangerous provocation”. “Any action (in this direction) will receive a corresponding response,” he insisted.

The former Russian president and current vice-president of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, had declared a few hours earlier Ukraine is trying to make a ‘dirty bomb’an artifact that spreads radioactive elements. “Given the seemingly meaningless chatter around Ukraine’s creation of nuclear weapons, only one sad conclusion can be drawn: the Nazi regime is trying to create a ‘dirty bomb,'” Medvedev wrote on Telegram. He added that Ukraine has everything necessary for this: “raw materials, technologies and specialists.”

Ukraine has denied wanting to develop weapons of mass destructionafter the German newspaper Bild published, citing a senior Ukrainian official on condition of anonymity, that kyiv would be able to develop a nuclear bomb within weeks. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry said the country respected the non-proliferation treaty and recalled that it had given up its nuclear weapons when it became independent from the Soviet Union.
