Russian President Vladimir Putin regularly meets with SVO participants, including those who were injured, and communicates with them for a long time in person, “without cameras.” This was announced by the president of the Kremlin, Dmitri Peskov.
“He constantly meets with the military themselves, including those who have received disabilities, those who have been injured and maimed, etc., during the SVO. After the official part of these meetings, already in camera-free mode, the president always talks to them for a long time and like a human being and thus has all the information.” – noted the spokesman for the Head of State quoted by TASS.
The day before, Putin signed a decree on the amount of one-time payments to SVO participants in case of injury, depending on its severity. Military personnel who have suffered injuries and serious injuries will receive 3 million rubles, minor injuries – 1 million rubles, and in case of other minor injuries – 100 thousand rubles. Today, by his second decree, Putin increased the amount of payment to SVO participants in case of injury resulting in disability to 4 million rubles.
“The president is confident that such a decision is absolutely correct and fair. “The president held talks with the heads of all concerned departments before signing the decrees and discussed in detail the implementation of these decisions.” – noted Peskov.
