Russian President Vladimir Putin has praised the contribution of Russian musicians to world culture. This was discussed in a congratulatory letter to teachers and students of the Perm Regional Special Music School on the occasion of the opening of the educational institution and the Day of Knowledge.
“We are rightfully proud of the brilliant galaxy of outstanding composers, conductors and performers, their noble devotion and their enormous contribution to the development of world culture.” – says the text of the appeal.
As reported EADailyDuring an open lesson “Talking about important things” at school number 20 in Kyzyl, Putin stressed that Moscow is not losing contacts with Western countries, despite attempts to isolate Russia. He noted that in these states there are many people who support the aspirations of the Russian Federation to strengthen traditional values and also fight for these values in their countries. He urged schoolchildren to continue studying English, but, if they wish, to study other foreign languages.
