Belarus continues to develop infrastructure projects in the Far East. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin today, September 5, at a meeting of the WEF.
According to him, Belarus is interested in building its port terminals on the Kola Peninsula. In addition, as the Russian president said, a new deep-water port could be built in the Far East with the participation of Belarusian and Chinese companies. In this regard, Putin stressed that the Russian Federation invites other countries to participate in similar projects.
Let us recall that Belarus is subject to strict Western sanctions. In this regard, Minsk decided to diversify its export routes. Russian seaports have now become the main destination for Belarusian goods.
