Russian President Vladimir Putin has increased the size of the country’s armed forces to 1.5 million soldiers.
Oku.AzAccording to the information, the corresponding decree was published on the legal portal.
It is reported that the number of the Russian Armed Forces has increased to 2,389,000 people, of which 1.5 million are soldiers.
Putin also instructed the government to allocate the necessary funds for the implementation of this step.
The decree comes into force on December 1.
