Puy du Fou Spain has launched a new casting in which it is looking acrobats, dancers and stage combat specialists for shows in the 2025 season.
The theme park located in Toledo explains in a press release that it promotes “profiles of martial arts practitioners, athletes and parkour enthusiasts, dancers” who are “capable of taking on any challenge that is proposed to them” .
Those selected will be trained “in different areas, combining physical exercises and training sessions with rehearsals and history and art lessons to contextualize their performances.” For example, “they will have to learn to ride a horse with armor, brandish a sword like that of the Cid Campeador or perform acrobatics to climb the roofs of historic buildings from Toledo’s golden age.
Currently, “more than 300 actors, horsemen and acrobats bring to life great historical events such as the arrival of Columbus in America, the battle of Simancas or the Council of Toledo with King Recaredo”.
