QWER Takes Legal Action Against Defamation

In a decisive move to protect its reputation, the fifth-generation girl group QWER has launched legal proceedings against malicious slander. Known for their controversial incidents, QWER has frequently been in the spotlight, often facing backlash for members’ comments and actions.

3Y Corporation, QWER’s management, confirmed receiving over 250 reports of defamatory content, which led to the filing of the first criminal complaints. In their statement, the company underscored its commitment to tackling these issues.

The management emphasized their zero-tolerance approach, promising regular legal action against falsehoods and harmful behavior. They stressed the importance of fan reports in identifying defamatory posts within private online communities. Kim Gye Ran, the group’s creator, warned that no leniency will be extended to offenders.

QWER’s history of controversy includes remarks from member Siyeon on marriage and reproduction, which sparked significant backlash. Additionally, member Chodan was criticized for derogatory comments about feminism during a livestream.

Despite these challenges, QWER is determined to defend their image and deter future slander. This move marks a new chapter in their battle against malicious online attacks, showcasing their resolve to maintain integrity amid public scrutiny.
