Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal has announced that he has decided to end his professional career.

“I’m leaving professional tennis. The reality is that they were difficult years, especially the last two years. I don’t think I would have been able to play without restrictions. Obviously, it’s a difficult decision,” Nadal said in a video shared on his social media page.
Nadal’s last tournament will be the “Final Eight” of the Davis Cup, which will be held in Malaga from November 19 to 24.
Nadal is 38 years old, a 22-time Grand Slam winner and two-time Olympic champion.
