As predicted by the forecasts, this Saturday the rain became the protagonist of the military parade that took place in the center of Madrid on the occasion of National Day. Bad weather forced the suspension of the flypast and parachute jump with the flag, but did not free Pedro Sánchez from being whistled by certain citizens who braved the storm.
The downpour that fell on the capital since early in the morning discouraged many Madrid residents from going out into the streets to see their armed forces, even if a few faithful gathered throughout the kilometer and a half planned route along Paseo del Prado.
Sánchez arrives unannounced over the PA system
