Real Madrid assures that the Bernabéu will hold other “events and shows” despite the suspension of its concerts

The news that the Santiago Bernabéu stadium has suspended all concerts until March forced Real Madrid to issue a statement on Friday night explaining what would happen with the five performances scheduled for the coming months.

In the note, Real Madrid acknowledges the non-compliance with the noise with a long explanation: “Despite the soundproofing conditions of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and the reinforcement measures that are underway, compliance with said regulations by the different organizers and promoters has been affected by the great challenge it has posed to them to take into account all its precepts.

The team chaired by Florentino Pérez says it is working to ensure that “during concerts, the precise conditions of production and emission of sound are respected” and that current municipal regulations are respected. So far, all the performances held at the Bernabéu have violated the noise limits imposed by the Madrid City Council’s ordinances.

The statement states that the K-Pop event that was scheduled to take place on October 12 is definitively canceled. And that for the performances of Dellafuente (November 15) and Lola Índigo (March 22) “the new dates will be announced soon.” The Aitana concerts, for which all tickets had been sold out and which were going to take place at the end of the year, have already announced new dates: June 27 and 28, 2025.

However, the white club makes it clear that in the coming months it will continue to hold events in its renewed state, although it will not be focused on music, as happened this summer with La Velada organized by Ibai Llanos: “The Bernabéu is ready to host a large number of events and shows, which will continue to take place within the stadium’s operating project.

This is the full statement from Real Madrid, published on its website three hours after announcing the cancellation of all its concerts scheduled until March:

Real Madrid CF announces that it has decided to temporarily postpone its calendar of events and concerts at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

This decision is part of the set of measures that the club has taken to ensure strict compliance with municipal regulations in force during concerts.

Despite the soundproofing conditions of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and the reinforcement measures that have been undertaken, compliance with said regulations by the different organizers and promoters has been affected by the great challenge that it has posed to them in taking into account all its precepts.

Real Madrid will continue to work to ensure that, during the concerts, the precise conditions of production and sound emission are met that allow the concerts to be held in our stadium.

The new dates and details of Dellafuente and Aitana, initially scheduled for November 15 and December 28 and 29, 2024, respectively, and of Lola Índigo, scheduled for March 22, 2025, will be announced shortly in the case of Music Bank, which was scheduled to take place on October 12, 2024, is definitively canceled.

In addition to concerts, the Bernabéu is ready to host a wide range of events and shows, which will continue to take place as part of the stadium’s operating project.

Real Madrid will continue to collaborate with the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council for sustainability and coexistence, and its objective will always be that the stadium’s activities guarantee its commitment to the city of Madrid and are beneficial for its environment.
