The Real Madrid basketball team faces its first major challenge as visitors this week, in a season in which it has yet to win away from home. The team will play three games in a row away from home: against Greek Olympiacos and Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Euroleague, and against UCAM Murcia in the Endesa League next Sunday.
The team led by Chus Mateo takes on this challenge in an excellent moment, having achieved its fourth consecutive victory at the Wizink Center. These triumphs include two victories in the Endesa League, against Bàsquet Girona and BAXI Manresa (the latter last Sunday), and two in the Euroleague, against Partizan and Red Star Belgrade.
After an irregular start, the white team has not yet improved its performance as visitors, with a first important test this Tuesday in Piraeus against Olympiacos who are still undefeated in their stadium and who have recorded three away defeats in Euroleague.
