One point. One point only.. This may seem like a lot, but when there is as much equality as there is in the current world cup This might be a lot. This might be enough. This might be what ultimately decides who wins the title. This might be what you need. Max Verstappen to add the fourth and complete the options by Lando Norris.
And Red Bull has something that McLaren doesn’t. No, it’s not the best car. That’s been clear for a long time. In Italy, especially. And he did what he had to do. He came in, changed the tires to the red ones and came back out on the track. As Norris entered the finish line and the Marina Bay night illuminated fireworks appeared on the monitor: Daniel Ricciardo, fastest lap in the race.
It doesn’t help him add points, but it helps Red Bull so that Norris doesn’t have that extra point which could well be the key in Abu Dhabi. The McLaren is far superior…and they know it.
