Renault hires 1,000 employees in its factories in Spain

Good news for the automotive industry in Spain. The car manufacturer Renault has decided to increase, for the second time in three months, its daily production capacity at the Valladolid plant with the activation of the night shift from the end of October to meet the increase in demand for the models produced in the facilities.

The commercial success of new products, Renault Captur and Renault Symbiozhas allowed the workforce of this factory to be increased by a thousand people: 500 were hired in July and the remaining 500 will be hired between September and October.

Specifically, the Renault Group plant in Valladolid manufactures the model Renault Captur since 2012, a vehicle which, with more than 2.3 million units produced, maintains its leadership among the crossing urban vehicles in Europe since its launch in this market. A model that has been updated this year with significant changes both in the interior and exterior design, as well as in the engines it assembles. A model that has been added to the production line, the Renault Symbiozthus completing the range with which the brand supports its hybrid leadership.

Thanks to the commercial success of the new vehicles produced in Valladolid, the company’s management called the Spokespersons Council this Thursday to announce the hiring of 500 new employeeswith the aim of the Valladolid plant increasing its production to 2.5 shifts per day from the end of October. Logically, the Valladolid Body Factory will also increase its activity to supply the parts needed for the increase in production.

These hires are in addition to the 500 announced last June, in which the plant increased its production to two full shifts, with which the models recently launched on the market have already made it possible to hire. 1,000 new employees within just three months.
