Renfe estimates 13,700 people affected and closes ticket sales to the public

Yesterday, October 19, a train without passengers derailed on a train that connected the Chamartín and Atocha stations. Oscar Gomez Barbero, general manager of business and operations of Renfe, indicated during a press conference this morning that currently “there are 13,700 passengers affected and 22 trains which have stopped running.
