After the recent emergency situation caused by DANA, Renfe began to gradually restore its services in the region. From this afternoon, Media Distancia services that connect Valencia to Valencia-Teruel-Zaragoza and Castelló-Vinaròs will be reactivated, allowing citizens to make essential trips when necessary.
In the Cercanías area, lines C5 and C6 have started operating on a limited basis since this morning. Line C6, which connects Valencia to Castelló, will offer 17 trains in each direction per day, while line C5, which connects Valencia to Caudiel, will offer three trains in each direction during the weekend.
NHowever, it is important to note that lines C1 (Valence-Gandia), C2 (Valence-Moixent) and C3 (Valence-Utiel) remain inoperative. and without a clear forecast of its recovery, which limits transport options in these areas. For their part, Euromed Valencia-Barcelona-València services were launched today on a limited basis with two trains per direction.
Regarding the Goods service, This Friday, traffic was restored exclusively for freight trainstrains of empty materials and infrastructure between Valencia-Sagunto-Teruel and between Valencia and Tarragona with temporary speed limits at risk points.
