Renfe announced this Sunday morning the suspension of 19 trains which operated connections between Madrid, Valencian Community and Murcia after the incidents that occurred this Saturday afternoon due to the derailment of a train in the tunnel which connected the Atocha and Chamartín stations. Added to this is the presence on the tracks of an unauthorized person who threatened to commit suicide at an access point.
According to Renfe, the canceled high-speed trains are:
Deleted original Madrid Chamartín: 5280 (8:30 a.m.) – 5092 (9:00 a.m.) – 5120 (12:30 p.m.) – 5162 (4:00 p.m.) – 5160 (4:30 p.m.) – 5182 (6:00 p.m.) – 5180 (6:30 p.m.) – 5192 (7:45 p.m.) and Long distance 11910 (12:15 p.m.).
Deleted originally from the Valencian Community: 5273 (7:24) – 5131 (1:31 p.m.) – 5143 (2:34 p.m.) – 5371 (5:42 p.m.) – 5181 (6:31 p.m.) – 5193 (6:50 p.m.) – 5203 (7:45 p.m.). Alvia 4343 (10:26 a.m.) and Intercity 11790 (7:13 p.m.).
And the original 5843 High Speed Train Murcia del Carmen (13:53).
The company also announced that return the amount tickets purchased from all persons concerned and that he will keep the relevant services up to date via his social media account
