Although the process of preparing COP29, which is considered the beginning of the fight against climate change, took little time, our country has adequately tackled this task.
Several streets, historical monuments, buildings and parks have been improved in the capital.
The area in front of the “28 de Mayo” station has also become a fertile area for pedestrians, seats have been built for them and trees and bushes have been planted. Improvement works were also carried out in other parks.
The head of the department of the executive branch of the city of Baku, Matin Huseynov, said that, in accordance with the instructions of the head of the country, up to 300 parks on the territory of Baku have been renovated or reconstructed over the past 20 years:
“Major repair and reconstruction works are currently being carried out in the Central Botanical Garden in the capital area, in the Dendrological Garden in the Mardakan settlement of the Khazar region. Expansion and improvement works are being carried out in the third part of Central Park.”
