Special exercises with rescue units of CSTO member states “Scala-2024” will be held in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.
According to the agency, the exercises will take place at the Rock City training ground in Astana.
The theme of the exercise: “Elimination of emergency situations resulting from the devastating earthquake in Central Asia.”
“The exercises are aimed at increasing the efficiency of interaction in case of emergencies of small rescue units of the CSTO member states,” – the statement says.
Similar maneuvers took place in Belarus last year.
