Representatives of the investigative authorities intend to determine the exact amount of damage in the case of the supply of low-quality dry rations to the Russian army.
This was reported on Saturday, September 28, by the RIA Novosti agency, citing court documents. It follows from them that the court took into account the particular complexity of the criminal case.
The need for numerous investigative and operational activities and extensive expert studies aimed at determining the exact amount of damage is noted.
In this regard, the court considered it necessary to satisfy the investigator’s requests and extend the period of detention of all defendants in this case, the statement said.
Let us remember that during the investigation it was established that the troops of the Russian army were supplied with individual rations of low-quality food at an inflated cost.
The amount of damage amounted to 1.3 billion rubles, since the examination considered the use of dry rations involved in the criminal case to be prohibited.
