Residents of Sheki village in Jafarabad long for safe drinking water.
Due to the lack of a subartesian well, villagers have to buy water with money or cross the road to bring water to their homes from another area.
“When I go to fetch two containers of water in the morning, I get home at 12 noon. We have to drink water from the canal. It also comes out with the garbage and sheep dung,” the neighbor complained.
