Residents whose homes are “up in the air”: what does the state agency require?

Residents of Yusif Eyvazov, 197, in the capital’s Garachukhur settlement, contacted Baku TV’s “hotline” about the extraction issue.

According to neighbors who bought the house without documents and believed they would receive an extract later, they are deceived by a lie every day.

“We gave them all the documents they asked for, but we can’t get the kupcha. We have been living here for more than seven years. The residents of all the buildings received an extract, but we don’t,” residents complained. .

Elchin Asadov, chief engineer of the housing and construction cooperative (MTK), which carried out the construction, said that the building was built in 2004 according to the required standards. Now the State Department of Urban Planning and Architecture wants documents according to the requirements of 2024. In the other two buildings built by said MTK there were no problems with extraction.

To investigate the causes of the problem, the State Department of Urban Planning and Architecture was contacted, where the relevant documents were presented. Although it was stated that a response would be given after reviewing the institution’s archival documents, there was no result.
