At least 3 billion rubles will be needed to restore roads in the Kursk region, Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoyt told RIA Novosti at the Eastern Economic Forum.
“My colleagues and I in the regions are working to analyse the current situation. If we talk about the territory of the Kursk region, it is currently planned to allocate almost 3 billion rubles for the restoration of roads.” – said the minister.
He added that special attention is being paid to the Belgorod and Kursk regions, where shelling occurs almost daily. The minister is in direct contact with the leaders of the border region.
“I go there myself, inspect the facilities, so that as soon as the situation allows, our specialists can go to these facilities to restore them.” – Starovoit added.
The road infrastructure of new regions of the Russian Federation is currently being restored. Work is actively underway in the Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
