RFEF agrees to create Management Commission after refusing precautionary measures to Pedro Rocha

THE Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) returns to the starting point where it was a few months ago. Once the judge refused the precautionary measure Pedro RochaThe disqualification of the TAD for the presidency so far has been confirmed. The Board of Directors will therefore reconstitute the Management Commission next Monday, before calling the elections for the presidency and, later, for the Assembly.

The RFEF will apply the article 31.8 of its statutes, once we know that Rocha is again disqualified. In the event of the President’s termination for reasons other than the end of his term of office, the Board of Directors will constitute the Management Commission. and will call elections to fill the position; “The person elected will hold the position for a period equal to the time remaining to be filled by the person replaced,” the regulation states.

Therefore, the Board of Directors of the RFEF must be constituted as a management commission, electing for it a president – as happened after the resignation of Luis Rubiales a year ago – and then the presidential elections will be called. This step has already been taken, with the election of Rocha as the new president, but with his disqualification, the process will have to be repeated again, now without the leader of Extremadura.

Subsequently, the RFEF We must call elections again, this time to renew the Assembly. This step was pending execution because it takes place during an Olympic year, so they have to do it before the end of the year.

The feeling in RFEF It is that the decisions of the Government They wasted a year. A very valuable period in which stability could have been established within our football. But they did not want it to be this way and now it is time to go back to square one. In Las Rozas they are hurt by the way a man was treated Pedro Rocha that since he took charge of the most important organization in Spanish football, he has distinguished himself by his proximity and his human work.

The Management Commission will chair the RFEF

It should be recalled that the current president of the RFEF He was disqualified for a period of two years for having exceeded his functions while he was still chairman of the Manager. More specifically, due to the dismissal of Andreu Camps, whose departure was agreed with the players of the women’s team and with the Sánchez government itself, through the Higher Council of Sports (CSD).

In the RFEF, The general feeling that the government wants to control them is more present than ever in the corridors and offices. “Until the government controls the Football Association, this will not stop”they assured from Las Rozas after learning of Rocha’s refusal of the precautionary measure. It would not be a strange maneuver for Pedro Sánchez who has not stopped colonizing public institutions or strategic companies such as the Bank of Spain, Correos, RTVE, CIS, Red Eléctrica or the National Institute of Statistics. Seeing the Spanish Football Federation led by someone who resembles the president of the government is therefore in no way a chimera.

The decision to disqualify the TAD Pedro Rocha and the judge’s decision to reject the precautionary measure has once again left the Spanish Football Federation without its leader. That is why the current board of directors, led by president María de los Ángeles García Chaves, better known as Yaye, first vice-president of the RFEF, met on Friday to make decisions always with the greatest possible legal protection. What has been decided is that from Monday, the RFEF will once again lead a management commission, until a new president is elected.
