The star of the movie “Pretty Woman”, American actor Richard Gere, sold his property in Connecticut (USA) for $10.75 million, Mansion Global reports citing property documents.
Gere and his wife, a Spanish publicist alejandra silva bought a property on a plot of 128.6 thousand square meters two years ago from a musician Pablo Simon and his wife Edie Brickellpaying 10.8 million dollars.
There are two houses on the property: the five-bedroom main house, built in 1938, and a three-bedroom cottage. The property also features a patio, pool, perennial gardens, wooded trails, a rock-lined stream, a natural pond, and a waterfall.
Gere sold the property at a slight discount to the original price because the couple decided to move to Spain.
Before moving to Connecticut, Gere owned a home in the famous enclave of Pound Ridge, New York, which he sold in May 2022 for $28 million.
