The municipalities concerned are Aldaia, Alaquàs, Picanya, Sedaví, Paiporta, Benetússer, Alfafar, Massanassa, Catarroja, Albal and Beniparrell.

This was announced by the Director General of Fire Prevention, Rosa Tourisreporting at the last hour on the work taking place on the ground, after this last meeting of CECOPI, in which the president of the Generalitat Valenciana participated, Carlos Mazon, and the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Angel Victor Torres.

Furthermore, he clarified that one of the main tasks of the media that act in an emergency is the removal of waste. This is why CECOPI has been informed that its management will be carried out in two phases: a daytime phase for the collection of waste and effects in the collection areas and a nighttime phase for the transport of this waste to the collection areas and the careers.

This measure is put in place with the aim of being more efficient in collection and decongesting access roads during the day with heavy traffic.

Progress of operational work

In Benetússer, Sedaví and Llocnou, the work focuses on big rescue plans in the MN4 shopping center and the Albufera hotel. In this same area, the underground passage that connects Alfafar to El Saler. Meanwhile, in Alfafar and Massanassa, the urban centers no longer need drainage, work is mainly carried out on two other blocked underpasses and on the replacement of the sewer system. Finally, as in Catarroja and Albal, there are no more drains in urban areas and 60% of the roads have been cleared. The Director General also recalled that, on the ground, more than 2,100 firefighters more than 40 organizations and 7,800 soldiers.
